What to Find & Do on this Website?

On-Orbit Servicing (OOS) and its issues have been dealt with again and again over the last decades, but OOS never really took off so far. This is partly because OOS and its drivers - due to the enormous complexity associated - is not yet understood sufficiently.

This website intends to help improve the understanding of OOS, its drivers, its potential benefits and challenges and overall implications for the space sector. In this context also and particularly non-technical aspects are important to be covered, since most related activities in the past were focused on the technology side of OOS.

This website provides information on
  • Events dedicated to OOS (see Links, News, Workshops OOS 2002 & OOS 2004)
  • Interesting documents and publications on the topic
  • OOS from a high-level perspective
  • Links
  • News
and will be updated regularly.

This website shall also serve as a global platform and link for OOS and therefore addresses the entire space community.
